Hello! Welcome to the Genre Guru: A Reviewer's Blog!
This blog is written for those who are open to embrace new genres in both film and novels. In the posts that will follow, I will be reviewing novels that vary in genre and length, as well as variances in public exposure such as bestsellers, but also from aspiring authors and basic selling novels.
Film reviews will be posted less often than novel reviews, but you will definitely see some posted throughout the blog. Film reviews will mainly be for festival, such as Sundance and Cannes, films, as well as Oscar contenders, blockbusters, and independent films.
I have a great variance in interest, so throughout the posts, there will be a great variety in what types of novels and films are being reviewed, from Drama to Action, all the way to Science Fiction and possibly Thrillers/Horror.
